An established and highly respected construction and infrastructure contractor is seeking an experienced Logistics Manager to join a major project based in Catterick. This is an immediate requirement with a minimum contract duration of 18 months.
The Role
You will take full responsibility for managing all on-site logistics, ensuring the smooth coordination of materials, site access, deliveries, and workforce movements within a structured and secure environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage all site logistics operations
- Coordinate deliveries, storage, and distribution of materials
- Control site access and traffic management
- Ensure full compliance with health, safety, and security procedures
- Liaise effectively with subcontractors, suppliers, and project teams
- Maintain accurate records and logistics reporting
Requirements
- Proven experience in a Logistics Manager role within construction or infrastructure projects
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, high-security environment
- Experience working on MOD or secure sites is highly desirable
- A forces background would be advantageous
