Skilled Civils Operative - Long-Term Opportunity at RAF Brize Norton
Danny Sullivan Group is recruiting experienced Skilled Civils Operatives to join major long-term infrastructure projects at RAF Brize Norton. This is an outstanding opportunity to become part of one of the Ministry of Defence's largest investment programmes, with work expected to continue well into 2026 and beyond. Current works include the £9 billion Ministry of Defence housing strategy, delivering 265 new-build military family homes, alongside a major airfield resurfacing and infrastructure upgrade to modernise critical operational facilities at the UK's largest RAF station.
Your Role as a Skilled Civils Operative
As a key member of the site team, you will undertake a range of skilled civil engineering activities, ensuring work is delivered safely, efficiently, and to the highest standard. Responsibilities include:
- Carrying out drainage, ducting, foundations, kerbing, concreting, and external works
- Installing underground services and assisting with infrastructure construction
- Reading and working from site drawings and supervisor instructions
- Working safely around plant, machinery, and live construction activities
- Supporting the delivery of high-quality civil engineering works to programme
- Maintaining excellent health, safety, and environmental standards
- Identifying and reporting hazards, defects, and site issues promptly
- Working collaboratively with supervisors, plant operators, and other trades
What We're Looking For
- Valid CSCS Card
- Proven experience delivering civil engineering or infrastructure works
- Excellent awareness of health & safety and safe systems of work
- Reliable, proactive, and able to work effectively within a skilled site team
- Additional plant tickets or relevant competencies are advantageous
Pay & Benefits
