Danny Sullivan Group is looking for a Lifting Supervisor to work with a client in the Southampton area for night shifts.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Supervising all lifting operations in accordance with current health & safety legislation
- Coordinating crane movements and lifting activities safely and efficiently across site
- Liaising with crane operators, slingers/signallers, logistics teams, and site management
- Ensuring lifting plans and RAMS are followed correctly at all times
- Conducting pre-lift checks and monitoring lifting zones for potential hazards
- Maintaining safe systems of work throughout the duration of the shift
- Reporting any safety concerns or operational issues to site management promptly
Requirements
- Valid CPCS Blue Card – Crane Supervisor
- Previous experience working as a Crane Supervisor on construction projects
- Strong understanding of lifting operations, site safety procedures, and lifting regulations
- Good communication and leadership skills
- Reliable, punctual, and available for the full duration of the assignment
