We are seeking an experienced Site Manager for an immediate start on a live education project in Bishopbriggs. This is an 8-week contract role focused on managing the internal finishes phase of a new school development. The successful candidate will take full responsibility for coordinating and delivering high-quality internal fit-out works while maintaining the highest standards of health, safety, and programme performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage all internal finishes packages including:
    • Partitions
    • Floor finishes
    • Taping and decorating
    • Suspended ceilings
  • Develop and implement weekly work plans aligned with the master programme.
  • Coordinate subcontractors and sequence works to ensure efficient delivery alongside M&E installations.
  • Monitor and enforce health, safety, environmental and quality standards across all activities.
  • Conduct weekly SHE inspections and daily quality inspections.
  • Chair and lead fortnightly subcontractor progress meetings.
  • Work closely with the Building Services Manager and report directly to the Project Manager.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Site Manager delivering internal finishes packages on construction projects.
  • Strong understanding of programme management, sequencing and subcontractor coordination.
  • Excellent knowledge of health & safety regulations and quality assurance processes.
  • Ability to drive progress and maintain high standards in a fast-paced site environment.
  • SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid certification preferred.
