Senior / Project Engineer - M42 Project Location: M42 Project Duration: October 2026 - June 2027 Contract: Temporary / Agency Reference: V(phone number removed) Rate: Competitive, dependent on experience We are currently recruiting for an experienced Senior / Project Engineer to join the team working on a major M42 infrastructure project. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and experienced engineer to work on a high-profile project within a leading Tier 1 construction environment. The Role As a Senior / Project Engineer, you will be responsible for supporting the successful delivery of engineering activities across the project, ensuring works are completed safely, efficiently, and to the required quality and technical standards. You will work closely with the Project Management and Engineering teams, subcontractors, and other key stakeholders to ensure the project is delivered in line with programme and specification requirements. Key Responsibilities Providing technical and engineering support across the project. Managing and coordinating engineering activities and site works. Reviewing drawings, specifications, and technical information. Ensuring works are delivered in accordance with design, quality, and safety requirements. Liaising with subcontractors, consultants, and project stakeholders. Supporting the preparation and review of technical documentation. Monitoring progress and resolving technical issues on site. Ensuring appropriate records and quality documentation are maintained. Supporting the wider project team to achieve programme and commercial objectives. About You The successful candidate will ideally have: Proven experience working as a Project Engineer or Senior Engineer within civil engineering/infrastructure. Experience working on major highways or similar infrastructure projects. Strong technical and organisational skills. Excellent communication and stakeholder-management abilities. The ability to work effectively in a fast-paced project environment. A strong understanding of health, safety, quality, and environmental requirements.
