Our client is a leading Tier 1 M&E contractor with a long-established reputation for delivering complex building services projects across the commercial, healthcare, education, residential and industrial sectors. Due to continued growth and a strong pipeline of secured work, they are seeking an experienced Mechanical Contract Manager to join their Birmingham operation.
The Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for the management and delivery of mechanical building services projects, ensuring works are completed safely, efficiently, on programme and in line with commercial objectives. Key duties will include:
- Managing mechanical projects from award through to final handover
- Coordinating project teams, subcontractors and supply chain partners
- Maintaining strong relationships with clients, consultants and key stakeholders
- Monitoring project performance, programme and resource requirements
- Supporting commercial teams with change management and project reporting
- Ensuring compliance with quality, health and safety, and company procedures
- Overseeing commissioning activities and project close-out
Candidate Requirements
Applicants should demonstrate a proven track record of delivering mechanical building services projects for recognised M&E contractors. Previous experience in a Mechanical Contract Manager, Senior Mechanical Project Manager or similar position is essential.
