Danny Sullivan Group is recruiting for an experienced Bid Writer on behalf of a growing infrastructure and civil engineering contractor delivering projects across the UK. This is a fantastic opportunity for a driven and detail-focused Bid Writer to join a busy pre-construction team supporting major infrastructure, utilities, highways, rail, and civil engineering tenders.

The Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for producing high-quality bid submissions, coordinating tender documentation, and supporting the wider business development and pre-construction teams in securing new work.

Key Responsibilities

  • Produce high-quality written responses for PQQs, SQs, ITTs, and tender submissions
  • Coordinate and manage bid documentation from initial enquiry through to submission
  • Liaise with operational, commercial, SHEQ, and planning teams to gather technical information
  • Review tender requirements and ensure all submission criteria are met
  • Edit and proofread content to ensure consistency, accuracy, and quality
  • Develop and maintain bid libraries, case studies, project profiles, and supporting documentation
  • Assist with client presentations and interview preparation
  • Ensure submissions are completed within strict deadlines
  • Support continuous improvement of bid processes and templates
