Carpenter / Joiner - OX17 Area | Long-Term Opportunity
Danny Sullivan Group is recruiting experienced Carpenters / Joiners to work on a major construction and civil engineering project in the OX17 area, near Greatworth.
This is a long-term opportunity for skilled tradespeople with construction or civils experience, the ability to read and understand technical drawings, and a strong commitment to site safety and quality.
Location: OX17 Area - Greatworth Green Tunnel
Start Date: Monday 19th October 2026
Duration: Long-term, ongoing work
Your Role as a Carpenter / Joiner
- Carry out general carpentry and joinery duties across a major construction and civil engineering project.
- Complete carpentry and joinery work in line with project specifications and requirements.
- Read and interpret construction drawings and technical plans.
- Measure, mark out, cut and assemble materials accurately.
- Assist with formwork, shuttering and other relevant construction activities as required.
- Ensure all work is completed to the required quality and safety standards.
- Work alongside site supervisors, engineers and other trades to maintain progress.
- Follow site drawings, RAMS and daily work instructions.
- Carry out tasks in accordance with site health, safety and environmental procedures.
- Maintain a clean, organised and safe working environment.
What We're Looking For
- Valid Blue CSCS card required.
- Previous carpentry / joinery experience.
- Construction or civil engineering experience.
- Ability to read and understand construction drawings.
- Valid Safety Critical Medical.
- EKFB induction preferred.
- Good understanding of site health and safety requirements.
- Reliable, punctual and available for long-term work.
- Right to work in the UK.
Pay & Benefits
- £21.45 per hour - first 39 hours.
- £32.18 per hour - after 39 hours.
- £42.90 per hour - after 55 hours.
- Weekly pay.
- Long-term, ongoing work.
