Location: North Acton, NW10

Shift Pattern: 7 days in - 3 days off - 7 nights in - 4 off

Rotation Hours: 12-hour shifts (06:45 - 18:45)(18:45-06:45)

Pay Rate: £406.07 per shift (PAYE)

We are currently recruiting for an experienced 360 Machine Miner to join a major tunnelling project based in North Acton, NW10. This is a long-term opportunity with a leading contractor.

The successful candidate will be operating a Schaeff excavator within a tunnelling environment, so previous experience operating Schaeff machines or similar compact tunnelling excavators is highly desirable.

  • NVQ Level 2 in Tunnelling

  • Proven experience as a Machine Miner in a tunnelling environment

  • Excavator 360° Above 10 Tonnes – Tracked
  • Excavator 360° Below 10 Tonnes – Tracked
Highly Desirable CPCS Categories
  • Excavator 360° Above 10 Tonnes – Lifting Operations
  • Excavator 360° Below 10 Tonnes – Lifting Operations
  • Forward Tipping Dumper – Wheeled
Preferred Experience
  • Experience operating Schaeff excavators or other compact tunnelling excavators.
  • Experience operating large tracked excavators (35 tonnes and above is advantageous).
  • Previous experience working on tunnelling or major civil engineering projects.
  • Strong understanding of health and safety within a tunnelling environment.
