We’re looking for an experienced Section or Senior Engineer to join a major infrastructure project in Suffolk, delivering complex road and civil engineering schemes. This is a fantastic opportunity to take ownership of key site activities on a high-value project, working with a respected main contractor on the successful delivery of critical infrastructure.
What you’ll be doing:
- Overseeing engineering aspects of large infrastructure and roadworks projects
- Managing and mentoring site engineers and subcontractors
- Carrying out setting out and ensuring technical accuracy across all works
- Supporting planning, quality assurance, and health & safety compliance
- Liaising with design teams, site management, and clients to maintain smooth project delivery
What we’re looking for:
- Proven experience as a Section or Senior Engineer on civil infrastructure projects
- Strong background in setting out and site management
- Solid understanding of highways and large-scale earthworks
- Ability to manage workloads and deliver to deadlines
- CSCS card and relevant engineering qualifications
You must be based within 1 to 1.25 hours’ travel of the Leiston area.
