A leading national infrastructure and construction business is seeking a Depot Sales Coordinator to join their friendly and supportive team based in Exeter. The company is well-established across the UK, operating across multiple specialist sectors and recognised for investing in their people, innovation, and long-term career development.
The Role
This is a varied position where you’ll play a key role in the smooth running of the depot. Around 80% of your time will involve:
- Processing sales orders using an in-house system
- Managing stock levels
- Providing face-to-face trade counter support
- Handling card payments
- Dealing with telephone enquiries
The remaining 20% will include loading and unloading stock using a Forklift Truck – full training is provided if you’re not already licensed.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Delivering excellent customer service both in person and over the phone
- Maintaining accurate stock records and ensuring orders are processed efficiently
- Assisting with distribution using designated hauliers
- Operating as part of a small, close-knit team that prides itself on a supportive, family-feel culture

- Computer literate and confident learning new systems
- Willing to train on a Reach Forklift Truck (if not already qualified)
