A leading national infrastructure and construction business is seeking a Depot Sales Coordinator to join their friendly and supportive team based in Exeter. The company is well-established across the UK, operating across multiple specialist sectors and recognised for investing in their people, innovation, and long-term career development.

The Role

This is a varied position where you’ll play a key role in the smooth running of the depot. Around 80% of your time will involve:

  • Processing sales orders using an in-house system
  • Managing stock levels
  • Providing face-to-face trade counter support
  • Handling card payments
  • Dealing with telephone enquiries

The remaining 20% will include loading and unloading stock using a Forklift Truck – full training is provided if you’re not already licensed.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Delivering excellent customer service both in person and over the phone
  • Maintaining accurate stock records and ensuring orders are processed efficiently
  • Assisting with distribution using designated hauliers
  • Operating as part of a small, close-knit team that prides itself on a supportive, family-feel culture

  • Computer literate and confident learning new systems
  • Willing to train on a Reach Forklift Truck (if not already qualified)
  • Positive, proactive, and a strong team player
