A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Project Administrator / Document Controller to join a leading organisation within the construction and infrastructure sector. This maternity cover role is ideal for someone who is highly organised, detail-focused, and confident managing project documentation and administrative processes within a fast-paced project environment.
Based in London Euston, the successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the Project Team, ensuring strong document control practices and efficient administrative workflow throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities- Manage, organise, and maintain all project documentation in line with established document control procedures.
- Ensure documents are issued, received, logged, tracked, and stored accurately within the electronic document management system.
- Provide comprehensive administrative support to project teams, including filing, correspondence, scheduling, and data entry.
- Prepare and maintain document tracking logs, status reports, and project deliverable updates.
- Liaise with internal teams and external stakeholders to support effective communication and timely information flow.
- Maintain up-to-date project records, ensuring compliance with company standards and audit requirements.
- Proven experience in a Document Controller or Project Administrator role within construction, engineering, rail, or a similar project-based environment.
- Strong proficiency with Electronic Document Management Systems (EDMS), ideally including SharePoint or similar platforms.
- Excellent organisational, communication, and time-management skills.
- High attention to detail and accuracy when handling documentation.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a project team, managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Salary: £30,000 – £40,000 depending on experience
