Overview

Document Controller – Long-Term Opportunity. Location: Edmonton, London. Duration: Ongoing / Long-term. Rate: Competitive, DOE (Paid Weekly).

A well-established contractor is seeking an experienced Document Controller to support a major construction project based in Edmonton. This is a long-term role ideal for someone confident managing site documentation and supporting project teams in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Manage project documentation using Electronic Document Management Systems (EDMS).
  • Control the flow of drawings, specifications, and technical documents across the project team.
  • Conduct regular checks to ensure compliance with document control procedures.
  • Maintain version control, filing systems, and project trackers.
  • Liaise with site teams, subcontractors, and consultants to ensure timely distribution and updates.
  • Assist with O&M manual preparation and project handover documentation.
  • Provide general administrative support to the site office.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Document Controller on construction projects.
  • Proficient with EDMS platforms such as ASITE, Viewpoint, SharePoint, or similar.
  • Strong attention to detail and document accuracy.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work with multiple stakeholders.
  • Comfortable working in a site-based environment.
  • CSCS card preferred.
