Gateman / Traffic Marshal (CPCS or NPORS) – Competitive Rate – National Grid Project

Danny Sullivan Group is currently recruiting for an experienced Gateman / Traffic Marshal to join the National Grid at Trawsfynydd Nuclear Power Station (Decommissioning Project). This is an excellent opportunity to secure long‑term work on a major infrastructure and energy project, supporting the safe management of site access, deliveries, and vehicle movements.

Your Role as a Gateman / Traffic Marshal:

  • Control access and egress of all vehicles, plant, and personnel entering and leaving site
  • Safely marshal and direct site traffic in accordance with site traffic management plans
  • Check delivery documentation and coordinate incoming deliveries
  • Maintain accurate records of site visitors, deliveries, and vehicle movements
  • Ensure all visitors and contractors comply with site security and induction requirements
  • Assist with site security and gatehouse operations
  • Monitor and maintain safe pedestrian and vehicle segregation
  • Communicate effectively with site management, logistics teams, and drivers
  • Report any incidents, hazards, or unauthorised access immediately
  • Maintain a clean, organised, and safe gate area
  • Adhere to all health, safety, environmental, and security procedures on site

What We're Looking For as a Gateman / Traffic Marshal:

  • Valid CPCS Traffic Marshal / Vehicle Banksman card or NPORS Traffic Marshal / Vehicle Banksman card (essential)
  • Previous experience working as a Gateman, Traffic Marshal, or Vehicle Banksman on construction or infrastructure projects
  • Strong understanding of site health and safety procedures
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a busy site environment
  • Reliable, professional, and safety‑conscious attitude
  • Experience working on major infrastructure, energy, utilities, or nuclear projects is advantageous
  • Right to work in the UK
