Danny Sullivan Group is recruiting a Site Manager on behalf of a leading civil engineering contractor delivering major infrastructure projects across the Birmingham region. This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing business working on large-scale civils, drainage, highways and infrastructure schemes.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day‑to‑day site operations across civil engineering and infrastructure projects.
- Lead site teams and subcontractors to achieve programme targets.
- Ensure all works are carried out safely and in accordance with company procedures.
- Conduct site briefings, toolbox talks and safety inspections.
- Coordinate labour, plant and materials.
- Monitor progress, quality and productivity on site.
- Review and implement RAMS and construction programmes.
- Liaise with clients, stakeholders and project delivery teams.
- Ensure project documentation and site records are maintained.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Site Manager within civil engineering, infrastructure or construction.
- Strong knowledge of drainage, highways, earthworks or utilities projects.
- Experience managing subcontractors and direct labour.
- SMSTS.
- CSCS Card.
- First Aid at Work.
- Strong understanding of health, safety and environmental compliance.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
