A leading Tier 1 M&E contractor is looking to bring in a Senior Electrical Estimator to support a strong pipeline of secured and upcoming projects across London.
This role sits within an established pre-construction team and will play a key part in winning and shaping major schemes.
The RoleYou’ll take ownership of electrical tenders from initial enquiry through to final submission, working closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to produce accurate, competitive bids.
What You’ll Be Doing- Leading electrical estimating on high-value M&E tenders
- Reviewing drawings, specifications and tender documents
- Producing detailed take-offs and cost plans
- Managing the full bid lifecycle through to submission
- Engaging with the supply chain to obtain competitive pricing
- Identifying risks, gaps and value engineering opportunities
- Supporting project teams during pre-construction handover
- Solid experience as an Electrical Estimator within an M&E contractor
- Background working on large-scale / Tier 1 projects
- Strong technical understanding of electrical building services
- Confident reading and interpreting drawings and specs
- Commercially aware with a detail-focused approach
- Comfortable dealing with clients and senior stakeholders
- Must have the right to work in the UK
