Danny Sullivan Group is currently recruiting for a Plant Fitter on behalf of a well-established civil engineering contractor based near Birmingham. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Plant Fitter looking for a varied role involving both workshop and mobile maintenance across a modern fleet of construction plant and equipment.

Responsibilities

  • Carry out planned maintenance, servicing and repairs on construction plant and equipment.
  • Diagnose and rectify hydraulic, electrical and mechanical faults.
  • Attend breakdowns and carry out reactive maintenance when required.
  • Complete inspections and ensure equipment remains compliant and operational.
  • Maintain accurate service and repair records.
  • Work safely in accordance with company procedures and health & safety requirements.

Requirements

  • Previous experience as a Plant Fitter, Plant Technician or Heavy Plant Mechanic.
  • Strong fault-finding skills across hydraulic, electrical and mechanical systems.
  • Full UK Driving Licence.
  • Relevant qualifications such as NVQ Level 2/3 in Plant Maintenance or equivalent are desirable.
  • Experience working within civil engineering, construction or infrastructure sectors.
