Danny Sullivan Group is currently recruiting for an experienced CPCS/NPORS Telehandler Operator to work on a major highways project on the A466, within the full 24/7 road closure between Bigsweir Bridge and Redbrook. This is an excellent opportunity offering £21 per hour CIS/UTR, with ongoing work available for the right candidate.
Your Role as a CPCS/NPORS Telehandler Operator
- Operate a Telehandler safely and efficiently within a live highways work environment under full road closure conditions
- Transport and distribute materials, plant, and equipment across the site
- Load, unload, and move deliveries in line with project requirements
- Support highways operatives and site teams with lifting and material handling duties
- Carry out daily machine inspections and basic maintenance checks
- Follow all health & safety procedures, site rules, and traffic management requirements at all times
- Maintain clear communication with supervisors, banksmen, and site teams
- Work effectively within a road closure environment to support project progress
- Assist with general site duties when required
What We're Looking For as a CPCS/NPORS Telehandler
- Valid CPCS or NPORS Telehandler ticket (essential)
- Previous Telehandler experience on highways, civil engineering, or construction projects
- Strong understanding of health & safety procedures on site
- Experience working within road closures or traffic management environments is desirable
- Reliable, punctual, and hardworking attitude
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Own transport preferred due to site location
