Danny Sullivan Group is currently recruiting for an experienced CSCS Skilled Operative to join a major construction project at Sizewell C. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled and reliable construction operative with experience working on major civil engineering, infrastructure or construction projects to secure long-term, ongoing work on a significant UK project.
Your Role as a CSCS Skilled Operative:
- Carry out general skilled construction and site duties
- Assist with groundwork, excavation and site preparation activities
- Support the wider construction team with day-to-day site operations
- Assist with the installation of kerbs, ducting and associated infrastructure
- Support drainage, concrete and other civil engineering activities
- Assist with preparation for tarmac and surfacing works
- Work safely around plant, machinery and other site operatives
- Follow drawings, specifications and site instructions where required
- Maintain clean, safe and organised working areas
- Report hazards, defects and unsafe conditions immediately
- Follow all site health, safety and environmental procedures
- Work effectively as part of a busy construction and civil engineering team
What We're Looking For as a CSCS Skilled Operative:
- Valid CSCS Card
- Previous experience working as a Skilled Operative on construction, civil engineering or infrastructure projects
- Experience carrying out general construction and site duties
- Good understanding of construction site health and safety requirements
- Ability to work safely around plant and machinery
- Reliable, hardworking and team-focused attitude
- Good practical skills and a willingness to carry out a variety of site duties
- Ability to work effectively as part of a large site team
- Full UK driving licence beneficial
