Danny Sullivan Group is currently recruiting for an experienced HGV Class 1 Driver to support ongoing infrastructure and site works across the Avonmouth and Bristol area. This is an excellent opportunity to secure short‑term work (7–8 weeks) with a well‑established team, supporting the transport of materials and plant equipment across multiple project locations.
Your Role as a HGV Class 1 Driver:
- Operate a 7.5t tipper lorry with trailer safely and efficiently
- Transport materials, tools, and plant equipment between various sites
- Carry out daily vehicle checks and ensure vehicle compliance
- Support site teams with general site duties during quieter driving periods
- Assist with loading and unloading materials when required
- Follow site health & safety procedures at all times
- Maintain good communication with site supervisors and project teams
- Ensure all deliveries and movements are completed safely and on schedule
What We’re Looking For as a Class 1 Driver:
- Valid Class 1 (Category C+E) Licence
- Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
- Previous experience operating tipper lorries and trailers
- Good understanding of site safety and transport regulations
- Reliable, flexible, and willing to assist with general site duties
- Strong work ethic and team‑focused attitude
Nice to Have as a Class 1 Driver:
- CSCS Card
- Previous experience on construction or infrastructure projects
- Plant or towing experience
- Knowledge of the Avonmouth / Bristol area
Duration: Approx. 7–8 weeks
Start Date: 6th July (TBC)
