An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Mechanical Estimator to join an award-winning MEP contractor with an established reputation for delivering high-quality projects across a range of complex sectors. Based from the company’s Loughton office, this position offers the opportunity to join a growing pre-construction team, supporting the delivery of competitive, commercially robust tenders across a diverse project portfolio while benefiting from a flexible hybrid working arrangement.

The Role:

  • Preparation of mechanical estimates from enquiry through to submission
  • Review of tender documentation, specifications, and drawings
  • Liaising with supply chain partners and subcontractors to obtain competitive quotations
  • Producing accurate cost plans, take-offs, and pricing submissions
  • Supporting value engineering exercises and commercial reviews
  • Working closely with operational and pre-construction teams throughout bid stages

What We’re Looking For:

  • Previous experience within a Mechanical Estimator position within the MEP sector
  • Strong understanding of mechanical building services and tender processes
  • Commercial awareness with strong attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple tenders within fast-paced environments
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management capability
