We require an experienced SHEQ Advisor to support highways maintenance works on high-speed road networks across Yorkshire. This is a hands-on, site-based role, working directly with operational teams in live traffic environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver regular SHEQ / OSH site inspections
  • Maintain a visible, practical safety presence on site
  • Engage and influence operatives and supervisors on safe systems of work
  • Review and advise on RAMS and task briefings
  • Support incident and near-miss investigations and action close-out
  • Provide pragmatic, solutions-led safety advice
  • Ensure compliance with CDM Regulations, company procedures, and client standards
  • Produce clear site reports and documentation
