We require an experienced SHEQ Advisor to support highways maintenance works on high-speed road networks across Yorkshire. This is a hands-on, site-based role, working directly with operational teams in live traffic environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver regular SHEQ / OSH site inspections
- Maintain a visible, practical safety presence on site
- Engage and influence operatives and supervisors on safe systems of work
- Review and advise on RAMS and task briefings
- Support incident and near-miss investigations and action close-out
- Provide pragmatic, solutions-led safety advice
- Ensure compliance with CDM Regulations, company procedures, and client standards
- Produce clear site reports and documentation
