A Tier 1, award-winning MEP contractor is looking to recruit an experienced Commercial Lead to join a major project in Finland valued between £100M and £130M. This is a senior position offering the opportunity to lead the commercial function on a flagship scheme, working alongside the Project Director and senior management team to ensure the successful commercial delivery of the project from inception through to final account.

The successful candidate will have a strong background working for an MEP or Building Services contractor and will be comfortable managing large project finances, leading commercial teams and building strong relationships with both clients and subcontractors.

You'll be responsible for:

  • Leading the project's commercial team and providing day-to-day guidance and support.
  • Managing project budgets, cost reporting, forecasting and CVRs.
  • Overseeing subcontract procurement, valuations, variations and final accounts.
  • Managing contractual matters and commercial risk.
  • Working closely with operational teams to maximise project performance and profitability.
  • Developing strong relationships with clients, consultants and supply chain partners.
  • Producing accurate commercial reports for senior management.

About You

  • Previous experience working for an MEP, Mechanical or Electrical contractor.
  • Experience leading the commercial delivery of major construction projects.
  • Strong knowledge of procurement, subcontract management, cost control and commercial reporting.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.

Package Includes

  • Basic salary of £105,000 - £115,000
  • 20% overseas salary uplift
  • £50 per day tax-free in-country allowance
