We are currently working with a well-established Building Services contractor that is seeking to appoint an experienced Mechanical Project Manager to support the delivery of a growing portfolio of projects across Coventry, the West Midlands and surrounding regions. Operating across a range of sectors including commercial, healthcare, education and industrial, the business has developed a strong reputation for delivering high-quality mechanical and electrical solutions while maintaining long-standing relationships with clients, consultants and supply chain partners.
Key Responsibilities
- Project Delivery
- Managing mechanical projects from pre‑construction through to completion and final handover.
- Developing and monitoring project programmes to ensure delivery milestones are achieved.
- Coordinating site teams, specialist subcontractors and supply chain partners.
- Ensuring resources are effectively allocated to meet project requirements.
- Client & Stakeholder Management
- Acting as the primary point of contact for clients, consultants and key project stakeholders.
- Attending progress meetings and providing regular project updates.
- Maintaining strong working relationships to support successful project outcomes.
- Commercial & Operational Management
- Supporting procurement activities and subcontractor management.
- Monitoring project performance against programme and budget objectives.
- Managing variations and change control processes in conjunction with commercial teams.
- Identifying and mitigating project risks throughout the delivery phase.
- Quality, Safety & Compliance
- Ensuring projects are delivered in accordance with company procedures and industry standards.
- Promoting a positive health and safety culture across all project activities.
- Overseeing commissioning, snagging and project close‑out activities.

Candidate Profile
The successful candidate will possess a proven track record in the delivery of mechanical building services projects and will have experience operating within an M&E contractor or Building Services environment. Applicants should demonstrate:
- Previous experience in a Mechanical Project Manager position.
- Strong technical understanding of HVAC, pipework and mechanical systems.
