Danny Sullivan Group is currently recruiting for experienced CSCS Concrete Finishers to join a major infrastructure project in Chippenham, Wiltshire (SN14). This is an excellent opportunity to secure long-term work on the £32 million A350 Chippenham Bypass Improvements (Phases 4 and 5), a significant highways project that will dual the carriageway between Lackham Roundabout and Bumpers Farm Roundabout. The project offers long-term opportunities, competitive rates, and consistent hours working on a key piece of local transport infrastructure.
Your Role as a CSCS Concrete Finisher:
- Carrying out all aspects of concrete finishing on highways and civil engineering works
- Finishing concrete to a high standard using hand and power tools
- Levelling, smoothing, edging, and texturing freshly poured concrete
- Assisting with the placement and curing of concrete for structural and highway elements
- Working from drawings and following site specifications
- Ensuring all work meets quality and safety standards
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised work area
- Following all site health & safety procedures
- Reporting hazards or safety concerns promptly
- Working effectively as part of the site team to deliver project milestones
What We're Looking For as a CSCS Concrete Finisher:
- Proven experience as a Concrete Finisher on civil engineering or highways projects
- Experience working on infrastructure, highways, or reinforced concrete works
- Good understanding of concrete finishing techniques and quality standards
- Strong awareness of site health & safety
- Own PPE
- Reliable, punctual, and hardworking attitude
- Ability to work well within a team
