Danny Sullivan Group is currently recruiting for an experienced CPCS 360 Excavator Operator to join a major construction and civil engineering project in Bath.


This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced 360 Operator looking for 3-4 months of consistent work, competitive rates and reliable weekly pay.


Your Role as a CPCS 360 Excavator Operator



  • Operate 360 tracked excavators safely and efficiently on a busy construction and civil engineering project

  • Carry out excavation and earthmoving works to the required depth and specification

  • Excavate trenches for underground ducting, utilities and drainage

  • Carry out bulk excavation, grading, levelling and site preparation

  • Assist Groundworkers with drainage, ducting, foundations and general civils

  • Work safely around existing underground services

  • Load and move materials safely using the excavator

  • Work alongside Groundworkers, Site Supervisors and other plant operators

  • Follow construction drawings, RAMS and site instructions

  • Carry out daily machine checks and report any defects immediately

  • Maintain safe working practices around pedestrians, plant and other site personnel

  • Keep work areas clean, safe and organised

  • Report hazards, damaged services and unsafe conditions immediately

  • Ensure all excavation and machine operations are completed safely and efficiently


What We're Looking For as a CPCS 360 Excavator



  • Valid CPCS 360 Excavatorfor above and below 10 tonnes

  • Proven experience operating a 360 excavator on construction or civil engineering sites

  • Experience with excavation, trenching, drainage, ducting and general groundworks

  • Good understanding of working safely around underground services

  • Ability to work from construction drawings and site specifications

  • Strong understanding of health & safety procedures and RAMS

  • Experience working around Groundworkers and other heavy plant

  • Reliable, hardworking and punctual

  • Previous experience on large civil engineering or infrastructure projects is advantageous

  • £23.00 per hour PAYE or£26.00 per hour CIS

  • Weekly pay

  • 3-4 months of work

  • Work based in Bath

  • Consistent hours

  • Opportunity to work on a major construction and civil engineering project

  • Potential for further opportunities following successful completion of the contract

  • Candidates must hold a valid CPCS 360 Excavator qualification

  • Relevant qualifications, identification and right-to-work documentation will be required before starting

  • Candidates must complete all required site inductions before commencing work

  • Previous experience operating a 360 excavator on civil engineering projects is required

  • Additional site-specific requirements may apply
