Supply Care Solutions are looking for a dedicated Social Worker or Senior Practitioner to join Family Support & Safeguarding Services in Oxfordshire.
Full Time
Hours: 37 hours per week
Contract Type: Permanent
You should have at least one year post-qualifying experience and will need experience working in long term casework, including CIN, Child Protection, and Care Proceedings.
A full valid driver's license is essential. Access to a car or plan to have one available within 2 weeks of any proposed start date.
You should reside or be willing to relocate to within 1 hour of an office location. International Social Workers who reside and work for a UK-based Local Authority can be offered sponsorship, subject to a successful interview.
As a qualified experienced Social Worker, you will possess good working knowledge of services relevant to children, young people, families, carers, groups, and partner agencies.
To succeed in this role, you will have a good understanding of safeguarding, relevant legislation, guidance, policy and procedures, and values and principles of FSS.
It will be hugely beneficial for you to have working knowledge of Motivational Interviewing and the cycle of change and their application in social work with children and families.
