Lead a dedicated evening team to ensure our high-value products move seamlessly from our site to our customers' tables.

What you will be doing

As our Despatch PM Supervisor, you'll take charge of the afternoon and evening shift, making sure everything runs safely, efficiently, and on time. You'll keep things moving, support your team and ensure every order leaves exactly as it should.

  • Operational Leadership: Lead the team to complete all daily outloads and unloads according to schedule, while delegating responsibilities and attending key production meetings.
  • Inventory & Quality Control: Manage correct stock rotation for customer orders, carry out racking inspections, and oversee all CCPs and quality verification checks within your area.
  • System & Data Management: Ensure accurate input for SAP, PDB, and Esmiley systems, while maintaining flawless paperwork for customer communications and legal requirements.
  • Safety & Efficiency: Maintain strict adherence to Health & Safety and hygiene procedures while continually identifying ways to improve team yields and operational efficiency.

What you will bring

We are looking for a responsible leader who thrives under pressure and takes pride in the accuracy of their work. You should be a trustworthy communicator who can motivate a team to meet tight deadlines while maintaining high standards of safety and quality.

  • Experience: Previous experience in a factory or production environment is essential, along with experience leading or supporting a team. Experience in warehousing, logistics, forklift operation, or shunting would be beneficial, but not essential, as full training can be provided for the right person.
  • Soft Skills: Strong leadership and organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and keep things running smoothly under pressure. You'll have a keen eye for detail, especially when it comes to paperwork and processes.
  • Hard Skills: Good English and numeracy skills (Level 2 or above), along with an understanding of food safety, HACCP, and continuous improvement practices. Experience with systems such as SAP or PDB would be an advantage.
