We are looking for processing operatives to join our team working on bacon and gammon product production lines. Working across our AM shift starting at 05:45 in the morning until 14:40 in the afternoon, totalling 40.83 hours a week.

Area of responsibility
Responsible for the processing, packing, or despatch of quality products to meet production targets and maintain cost efficiency and safe working conditions.
Specific tasks:
- Carry out all tasks necessary on specific lines within the production side of the factory
- Process, seal, pack, or despatch high quality products to the correct specification
- Work as part of a team or independently to ensure production targets are met in their area
- Ensure safe handling and transportation of food products throughout the factory
- Comply with the highest level of health, safety, and hygiene standards at all times
- Follow the correct procedures to ensure all product tracking is carried out successfully
- Carry out service roles throughout their production area to the required standard
- Coach or train other new Production Operatives where necessary to the required standard
- Cover other departments where necessary within required training and skill levels
- Contribute to departmental and site improvement projects as required
- Step up to the next level when required to ensure the smooth operation of the department
- Report any hazards or problems to their manager for resolution
- Take responsibility for own development
- Ensure timekeeping, performance, and attendance meet company expectations
