Textiles Designer Overview You will be responsible for creating distinctive woven and printed fabric collections that meet the needs of the commercial interiors sector.

This role offers the opportunity to influence products used across hospitality, healthcare, leisure, marine, workplace, and other specification-led environments.

Alongside developing new ranges, you will support bespoke customer projects, contribute to strategic product development, and work with cross-functional teams to strengthen and expand our contract offering.

Textiles Designer Key Responsibilities Create commercially viable woven and printed textile collections from initial research through to production and market launch.

Explore emerging trends, colour palettes, materials, and customer preferences to identify opportunities for new product development.

Take ownership of allocated collections, managing the design process and ensuring milestones are achieved within agreed timelines.

Produce mood boards, concept presentations, colour stories, and design proposals that align with customer and market requirements.

Develop innovative fabric constructions, print designs, and surface finishes in partnership with manufacturing suppliers.

Work collaboratively with mills, suppliers, and external design partners to ensure products meet quality, cost, and delivery expectations.

Present concepts, developments, and finished collections to senior leadership and key stakeholders.

Prepare market insight reports following exhibitions and supplier visits, highlighting opportunities for future development.

Collaborate with the commercial team to create products that meet the needs of both existing and prospective clients.

Support customer presentations and contribute to tailored product development for specification projects.

Prepare and maintain product information and development documentation alongside Purchasing and Sales teams.

Additional Information Ideal candidates will have: Some experience within woven textiles, as well as print.

Knowledge of textiles, interiors, or a related design industry.

Proficiency in AVA and Adobe Suite, including Photoshop, Illustrator, and In Design.

A keen eye for colour, material innovation, and interior design trends.

Strong communication, organisation and presentation skills.

A collaborative mindset, attention to detail, and proactive approach to problem solving.
