Retail & Merchandising Assistant Overview
We have an exciting opportunity for a Buying & Merchandising assistant to join this retail head office. This role supports Concessions and the Branch Merchandising teams, helping to ensure optimal stock performance, and seamless supplier and store communication.
Retail & Merchandising Assistant Responsibilities
- Coordinate store and supplier communication, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations
- Support the set up and sourcing of new concessions, including paperwork completion and logistics planning
- Maintain accurate supplier records and assist in the organisation of key meetings
- Communicate promotion activities, key initiatives, and store instructions to relevant stakeholders
- Assist in the analysis of sales, stock and store performance
- Produce regular reporting to support sales and margin growth
- Collaborate with space planning teams to help ensure the right product mix per store
- Support the stock allocation and replenishment process, proposing stock movements to maximise sell-through
