We are working on an amazing opportunity for a Product Quality and Compliance Lead to join a market leading jewellery company. The Product Quality and Compliance Lead will be responsible for ensuring all jewellery, watches and accessories consistently meet high quality standards and remain commercially scalable. This role functions as the central owner of quality, and will bring structure, consistency and accountability to how quality is managed.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and lead the overall quality and compliance approach across all product categories.
  • Define testing requirements, standards and acceptance criteria in line with UK, EU and international regulations.
  • Ensure all products meet required compliance standards while supporting commercial goals.
  • Convert technical guidelines (such as third-party testing standards) into clear, practical processes.
  • Design and implement scalable quality controls across the full product lifecycle, from concept through to customer delivery.
  • Regularly review and optimise testing strategies and quality control procedures to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Take ownership of supplier quality performance from onboarding through ongoing management.
  • Set clear expectations, communication structures and accountability across all suppliers.
  • Lead supplier audits, oversee compliance checks and manage escalations when standards are not met.
  • Partner with global suppliers to ensure consistent application of quality requirements.
  • Work closely with Buying, Merchandising, Product Development and Operations to integrate quality at every stage.
  • Ensure quality considerations are embedded in decision-making from initial concept through to final delivery.
  • Support internal teams with training and guidance to drive awareness and adoption of quality standards.

Additional Information

The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a similar role, with strong experience on jewellery, accessories or any other related product area and excellent knowledge on regulatory standards (e.g. REACH, Nickel Directive, hallmarking, Prop 65).
