A luxury homewares business is looking for a Junior Account Manager to join their growing team. This business supplies high-end furniture and home accessories to a number of customers. This is a brilliant opportunity for someone early in their career with a background in interior design, homewares, textiles, or retail, who is keen to move into a client-facing commercial role within the interiors industry.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and develop new and existing trade accounts across your designated UK territory.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with retailers, interior designers, and other accounts.
- Visit clients regularly to present collections, introduce new products, and maximise sales opportunities.
- Act as a knowledgeable brand ambassador, confidently discussing materials, finishes, and design concepts.
- Attend trade fairs to support buying, product launches and client engagement.
- Maintain strong commercial awareness and contribute to overall sales growth.
- Manage your own diary and territory, balancing current account management and new business activity.
Skills and Experience:
- Background in interior design, homewares, textiles, furniture, or retail is essential.
- Experience working in a B2B environment is desirable.
- Educated to degree level or equivalent, ideally within a design-related discipline.
- Strong communication and relationship building skills.
- Highly organized with excellent time management.
- Self-motivated, ambitious, and keen to grow within the interiors industry.
- Full UK driving license.
