We have an exciting opportunity for a Girlswear Designer to join a succeeding fashion company. The Girlswear Designer will work across have a keen eye for trends and a creative flair, with the ability to produce bestselling customer ranges.
Responsibilities:
- Attend regular customer meetings, work on customer briefs and present finished ranges
- Liaise with factories overseas daily, and attend sourcing trips
- Analyse current and future trends and interpret this into commercial ranges
- Create detailed tech packs
- Attend comp and inspiration shopping trips
- Completing trend research
Skills:
- Fully competent using Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop
- Excellent communication, particularly working between factories and the customers
- Confident in your abilities and when presenting designs
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
Additional Info:
The Girlswear Designer will have previous experience in a similar role. Various levels of experience will be considered for this position; however presentation skills and excellent trend lead commercial portfolios are a must.
