We’re looking for a commercially minded Finance Manager to join a fast-growing fashion supplier, supporting major high street and online retailers. The Finance Manager will play a key role within the business, and be responsible for overseeing financial operations, driving performance, and partnering with senior stakeholders to support strategic decision-making.
Finance Manager Key Responsibilities
- Lead day-to-day financial operations, including management accounts, budgeting, and forecasting
- Deliver timely and accurate monthly management accounts with clear analysis and insight
- Partner with commercial and merchandising teams to support margin, pricing, and cost control
- Manage cash flow, working capital, and supplier payments as well as stock levels
- Oversee stock accounting and inventory reporting
- Prepare annual budgets and rolling forecasts
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal controls
- Support audit processes and liaise with external auditors
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiencies
Additional Information
- Fully qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA)
- Proven experience in a similar Finance Manager role
- Experience within fashion, retail, or wholesale is highly desirable
- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to influence non-finance stakeholders
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Advanced Excel skills (experience with ERP systems is a plus)
- Hands-on, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
