We are partnering with a market leading retailer who are keen to recruit a Design Manager working across Childrenswear products. The Manager will lead and support a team of 6 and work across categories including Newborn, Baby and Toddler clothing as well as interiors, soft toys, gifts and bedding.
Responsibilities:
- Work to develop and deliver global and local design strategies
- Create concepts that will guide the ranges
- Work with the Buying, Merchandising and Development teams to ensure design plans are effective and delivered on time
- Plan and manage budgets
- Attend and plan comp and inspiration shopping trips
- Be involved in the hands on design of ranges as and when needed
- Work closely with factories overseas
Additional Information:
The Design Manager must have previous experience in a similar role, with a commercial mind set and be uber creative, with a flair for delivering ranges that keep families at the heart of everything. This is a hybrid role and will be in the office 3 days a week.
