We are working with a successful fashion business who require a commercially aware Ladies and Childrenswear Designer to work within their well-established nightwear and loungewear department.
The Ladies and Childrenswear Designer will design garment shapes for high street customers; experience in designing prints would be beneficial, although not essential.
Responsibilities:- Liaise closely with factories overseas
- Create detailed tech packs
- Analyse current and future trends, create mood boards and trend packs and interpret trends into range
- Attend customer meetings and work into customer set briefs
- Assist in designing and developing commercial ranges
The ideal candidate for the Ladies and Childrenswear Designer role must have some experience working in a design role with a creative flair and excellent communication and organisation skills.
