We’re partnering with a leading baby product brand that’s looking for a passionate and driven Junior Textile Designer to join their creative team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone eager to kick-start their career in textile and product design, especially within the nursery and lifestyle space.
This role is perfect for someone with a natural sense of style, a love for color and trends, and a desire to grow into a specialist role within a supportive, innovative environment.
- Support senior designers in developing new textile concepts and product designs
- Carry out trend research and market analysis to help shape seasonal direction
- Assist in the creation of mood boards, color palettes, and material references
- Prepare clear and professional design presentations using Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop
- Contribute to the development of nursery-ready products aligned with brand identity
- Work closely with teams across product development and engineering to bring designs to life
What We’re Looking For:
- Actively participate in design reviews, offering fresh ideas and supporting design updates
- A degree or relevant experience in textile, fashion, or product design (or similar field)
- Up to 2 years of experience (including internships or placements)
- Passionate about baby products, lifestyle design, and emerging consumer trends
- Skilled in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop; digital drawing experience is a bonus
- Strong understanding of color, texture, and form, with a willingness to learn and adapt
- Basic awareness of how design translates to production, including material constraints
- Capable of compiling research, creating mood boards, and clearly presenting ideas
- Highly organized with a strong attention to detail
- Positive, proactive attitude with excellent communication and collaboration skills
