We are working in collaboration with a market leading company to recruit a Product Manager to lead their procurement team. The Product Manager will be a key member of the team who will ensure a cost-effective and resilient supply chain and manage supplier relationships, contract negotiation, demand forecasting and stock optimization.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and execute procurement strategies that align with overall business goals.
  • Oversee relationships with global suppliers to ensure consistent delivery, quality and cost efficiency.
  • Negotiate supplier contracts and pricing structures to maximise value and secure long-term supply stability.
  • Manage inventory levels and plan replenishment.
  • Handle selected product categories, including sample development and supplier coordination.
  • Work closely with sales, product development and operations to ensure purchasing supports the product timelines and market demand.
  • Monitor market dynamics and supplier performance to identify potential risks and areas for improvement.
  • Ensure all sourcing complies with ethical, environment and certification standards (e.g., BSCI, WRPA, SEDEC, OEKO-TEX).
  • Utilise ERP platforms for order processing, inventory control and procurement reporting.
  • Project future material and stock requirements by analysing sales data and seasonal patterns.
  • Lead, coach and develop the procurement team to promote a results-driven and improvement-focused environment.

Skills and Experience:

  • Proven experience in a purchasing, procurement or supply chain management role.
  • Ideally worked in the apparel industry.
  • Proven experience managing offshore suppliers.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data.
  • Proficiency in MRP/ERP systems.
  • Strong commercial awareness and cost control acumen.
