We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Junior Product Development & Production Coordinator to support the Production team in the development and execution of seasonal collections. This role is ideal for someone with a strong understanding of garment construction, product development, and production processes, who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is eager to learn.
Key Responsibilities
- Support department throughout all stages of product development and production.
- Communicate feedback with factories clearly and concisely.
- Manage and track samples.
- Develop detailed tech packs for factories and suppliers.
- Assist with garment fittings.
- Support the management of product development timelines.
- Assist with quality control processes.
- Organise and manage swatches, samples, trims and knit downs from suppliers.
- Assist in sourcing fabrics, yarns and trims.
- Ensure samples meet requested specifications.
Requirements
- Degree in Fashion Design or a relevant course.
- Minimum of 1-2 years experience in product development, garment production, or a similar role within the fashion industry.
- Capacity to multi-task and prioritise workload.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) & Google Suite.
- Detail oriented with an eye for detail.
- Strong understanding of garment construction, manufacturing processes, and product development.
- Experience creating CADs and tech packs.
- Excellent organisational skills are essential.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and meeting tight deadlines.
- Proactive, collaborative, and solution-oriented approach to work.
- Must be able to travel internationally.
