Join a Skilled Precision Engineering Team We are recruiting for an experienced Tooling Engineer to join a well-established manufacturing business based in Wednesbury. This is an excellent opportunity for a highly skilled engineer with a background in precision grinding and tooling refurbishment to join a business that values quality, craftsmanship and continuous improvement. Working within a specialist tooling environment, you will be responsible for manufacturing, maintaining and reconditioning precision tooling to exacting engineering standards. Key Responsibilities Grind tungsten carbide dies to extremely tight dimensional tolerances and high-quality surface finishes. Re-condition tooling in accordance with engineering drawings and technical specifications. Precision grind carbide plugs using resin-bonded angle wheels to achieve the required finish and performance. Set up, adjust and carry out routine maintenance on grinding equipment to ensure optimum machine performance. Inspect completed components using precision measuring equipment including: Micrometers Bore gauges Vernier callipers Dial indicators Read and interpret engineering drawings, geometric tolerances and technical specifications.
