Membership Sales Exec

Do you enjoy starting conversations, getting to know businesses and finding out what they need? Are you comfortable making plenty of calls each day and staying positive when the answer is “not right now”? We’re recruiting a Membership Sales Executive to help a business membership organisation grow and retain its membership. This is a phone focused sales role for someone who is personable, persuasive and genuinely interested in the people behind each business. You’ll handle incoming membership enquiries, speak proactively with prospective members, understand their goals and explain how membership could help. You’ll manage your own pipeline, convert suitable opportunities and arrange meetings for the Business Development Manager where appropriate. You’ll also identify opportunities to promote events, sponsorship, advertising, partnerships and other services. We’re looking for someone who: * Enjoys making calls and can build rapport with a wide range of people. * Asks thoughtful questions, listens well and can hold an engaging conversation. * Is resilient enough to handle rejection and keep their momentum. * Is organised, proactive and motivated to achieve sales targets. * Can persuade without relying on a hard sell. * Takes pride in giving prospective and existing members a good experience. You may already work in sales, account management or customer service. What matters most is your energy, curiosity and willingness to pick up the phone, create opportunities and follow them through. Based in Wolverhampton £28,000 plus bonus 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday Mainly office based 27 days’ annual leave plus bank holidays
