A growing manufacturing business in Speke in Liverpool is looking to recruit a reliable and motivated Production Operative / FLT Driver to support day-to-day production and warehouse operations. This is a hands-on role involving manufacturing activities, forklift operation, quality checks, raw material handling, and dispatch duties within a busy production environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate production processes in line with schedules and work instructions
- Prepare and weigh raw materials for production batches
- Carry out quality control checks on products and materials
- Safely operate Counterbalance FLT equipment
- Load and unload vehicles, tankers, and raw materials
- Pick and prepare customer orders for dispatch
- Maintain accurate production and quality records
- Support housekeeping and cleanliness standards across the site
- Follow all Health & Safety procedures and company policies
Candidate Requirements
- Valid, in-date Counterbalance Forklift Truck licence
- Previous proven FLT driving experience in a manufacturing/warehouse environment
- Good communication skills
- Ability to follow instructions and work to deadlines
