Are you an experienced Commercial Heating Service Engineer looking to join a well-established and specialist Mechanical Service and Maintenance business? We are currently recruiting for a skilled Commercial Heating Service Engineer to join an experienced team, providing service, maintenance and fault-finding support to commercial customers across the Midlands. This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially qualified engineer who enjoys working independently, takes pride in delivering a high standard of service and is looking for a permanent position offering a competitive salary, company vehicle and excellent overtime opportunities.
The Role
As a Commercial Heating Service Engineer, you will attend customer sites throughout the Midlands, carrying out planned and reactive maintenance across a range of commercial heating systems. Your responsibilities will include:
- Servicing and maintaining commercial heating systems
- Carrying out annual servicing and gas safety inspections
- Diagnosing faults, leaks and system problems
- Fault finding and repair of commercial gas appliances and associated systems
- Working on boilers, water heaters, pumps and associated equipment
- Identifying hazards, defects and equipment requiring repair, adjustment or replacement
- Completing planned maintenance in accordance with customer contracts and agreed service requirements
- Ensuring all work is completed within agreed timescales
- Working in accordance with relevant legislation, codes of practice and Health
