A vacancy has arisen with our client for the role of Warehouse Operative Covering Team Leader due to expansion of our Logistics Operation. The main role will be to support and assist the Warehouse Team Leader, Senior Warehouse Controller and Operations Manager.
We are looking for a hardworking, committed individual, who is looking for a stable and secure career with development opportunity within a fast-paced manufacturing/warehouse environment. You will be reliable, enthusiastic and motivated, confident and knowledgeable with a positive attitude. Effective communication skills, excellent quality of written and numeracy work, ability to supervise and co-ordinate team members are essential.
To carry out all company policies and procedures effectively. Current forklift truck licenses are advantageous, full on the job training will be given for this post. Proven experience of at least 2 years in a warehouse team leader or supervisory role and experience of health and safety and quality control regulations are essential. Must be flexible.
The hours of work will be 08:00 - 17:00, 42.5 hours a week, these may change as the operation continues to grow to meet operational requirements.
- Reach FLT certification with proven work experience.
- Happy to manually lift material up to the legally required limit.
- Previous experience in managing or supervising staff.
- Prepared to work in a hands-on role on a day-to-day basis.
- Excellent computer skills.
- Excellent numeracy & literacy skills.
