We are seeking an experienced Roofing Site Manager to support multiple social-housing re-roofing projects across the St Helens area. This role involves overseeing the renewal and refurbishment of roofs and roofline on residential properties, ensuring all works are delivered safely, efficiently, and to a high standard. You will take responsibility for site operations, subcontractor management, Health & Safety compliance, and client communication. Experience delivering re-roofing contracts is highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities

  • Managing and coordinating all site teams
  • Overseeing programme delivery, including material orders, skips, and logistics
  • Completing weekly labour, progress, and KPI reports
  • Enforcing and monitoring Health & Safety procedures and CDM regulations
  • Carrying out daily quality and safety inspections (including working on ladders and scaffolding)
  • Resolving day-to-day site issues and challenges
  • Liaising with clients and providing regular progress updates
  • Using project management systems such as Teams, IPlanned, and Northgate
  • Working outdoors in all weather conditions, either on site or in a site office

Essential Qualifications & Experience

  • Strong roofing knowledge and hands-on experience
  • SMSTS (renewal can be arranged if expired)
  • CISRS Scaffold Inspection (renewal can be arranged if expired)
  • First Aid at Work (renewal can be arranged if expired)

Desirable Qualifications

  • Asbestos Awareness
  • Working at Heights
  • Manual Handling (Refresher training can be provided)
