Daniel Owen are recruiting for a Roofer in Leicester (covering Peterborough - Cambridge).

Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time

Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:00am-4:30pm

The Role:

Due to continued growth, an excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Roofer to join a well-established team working across social housing properties. This role involves carrying out a wide range of roofing works including:

  • Slate and tile repairs
  • Pitched and flat roofing (including heat application)
  • General maintenance and reactive repairs

You will be responsible for delivering high-quality work with minimal supervision, ensuring jobs are completed efficiently, safely, and to a high standard. Travel across a regional patch is required, so a driving licence is essential. A company van and fuel card are provided.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out reactive maintenance and repairs on various roof types
  • Diagnose faults and identify follow-on works
  • Repair and renew guttering systems
  • Work safely at height, including scaffold use and inspections
  • Ensure all work meets health & safety standards
  • Aim for first-time fixes while working within time and budget constraints
  • Maintain a professional and courteous approach on-site

What You'll Need:

Essential:

  • Experience in roofing (slate, tile, pitched & flat roofs)
  • PASMA training and scaffold inspection experience (or willingness to train)
  • Strong knowledge of health & safety and working at height
