We are currently seeking a skilled and reliable Electrician to join our clients social housing team, covering a regional patch between Peterborough and Leicester. This role is ideal for someone based within the area, as travel across the patch is required (approximately 1.5 hours end-to-end).

The Role

As an Electrician, you will be responsible for carrying out electrical maintenance, repairs, and installations within social housing properties, ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.

Salary & Benefits

  • £39,000 - £40,000 basic salary
  • 5% annual bonus (paid pro rata each March)
  • Company van and fuel card
  • Company benefits package
  • On-call rota (every 6-8 weeks): £100 standby payment, £60 per call-out

Working Hours

Monday to Friday 8:00am - 4:30pm

Essential Requirements

  • NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation including AM2 (practical assessment required)
  • 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
  • Full UK driving licence: Maximum 5 penalty points
  • No driving bans in the last 5 years
  • Ability to pass a basic DBS check

Desirable (Not Essential)

  • City & Guilds 2391 (Inspection & Testing)
  • Candidates with City & Guilds qualifications pre-2002 will be considered (post-2002 must hold NVQ Level 3)
