We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Labourer to join a project with immediate start from Monday 12th. This position is initially based in Darlington/Newcastle for the first week, and after that, the work will be in the Newcastle‑Durham area. The role will involve working in social housing properties, so previous experience in this sector would be ideal. The work will include stripping out kitchens and floors, moving materials, and general tidying up on‑site. We are looking for someone who is happy to work in a fast‑paced environment and who is proactive in assisting the team with a variety of tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Stripping out kitchens, floors, and other materials as required.
  • Moving materials and assisting with deliveries.
  • Keeping work areas tidy and organised.
  • Adhering to health and safety standards.
  • Assisting the team in other general labouring tasks as needed.

Requirements:

  • Own Transport - Must be able to travel to various sites in Darlington, Newcastle, and later Durham.
  • Asbestos Awareness - Must have valid asbestos awareness certification.
  • Must be happy to work in social housing properties and follow any relevant procedures.

  • Duration: At least 2 weeks, with potential for longer.
