Daniel Owen is representing a social housing company in Essex seeking a Mechanical & Electrical Compliance Manager.
This is a permanent role offering £53K – £58K plus package.
The successful candidate will oversee minor and major works operations related to Mechanical & Electrical maintenance across various clients and contracts, ensuring compliance, efficiency, and high-quality service delivery.
Responsibilities include:
- Managing operations of Mechanical & Electrical maintenance activities and full supply chain management.
- Managing approved contractors, including procurement, commissioning, and contractual management.
- Enhancing the efficiency and reputation of repairs and maintenance services.
- Ensuring accurate project cost management and claims recovery.
- Authorizing subcontractor payments within delegated authority.
- Conducting work-in-progress, safety inspections, and implementing improvement plans.
- Providing timely reports on project performance, costs, and compliance.
- Staying updated on contract management practices, standards, and legislation.
- Representing the company and liaising with stakeholders, potentially standing in for the Head of Minor Works and Compliance.
